LEXI WINDSOR

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania

Color of Your Soul Counseling is a name close to my heart—inspired by one of my favorite songs and rooted in my belief that true healing comes from within. It speaks broadly to the process of turning inward and uncovering the authentic colors that lie beneath the pain of life’s challenges. A metaphor I often like to share with clients is healing from trauma is like slowly chipping away at a heavy block of stone—bit by bit, the weight of the past starts to lift, and you begin to uncover a stronger, more true version of yourself.

Through Color of Your Soul, I aim to create a space where adults feel genuinely heard, valued, and supported. I bring deep attunement to each person’s unique needs through thoughtful treatment planning and collaboration with care teams when needed. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I like our work together to be collaborative and tailored to you. I’m here to offer guidance, introduce new perspectives, and share tools along the way, while always honoring that you are in the driver’s seat of your own healing.

ABOUT the practice

I’m an LGBTQ+ affirming, neurodivergent-affirming, and Health At Every Size (HAES) provider with four years of experience across a range of mental health settings—including higher-level care for eating disorders, community mental health, and outpatient trauma-focused therapy. My experience in the field has taught me to view the human experience not as “What is wrong with you?” but rather as “What has happened to you?” to create the most space for compassionate understanding of symptoms. I remain open and curious with clients about how their symptoms have helped them to survive.

My path into this work was shaped mainly by my own experiences with anxiety and my deep curiosity about what it means to be human. As a therapist and a lifelong growth-oriented person, I am always seeking new ways to stay present, curious, and grounded, so I can show up authentically for my clients, and share new tools I have learned along the way. I believe that I can only take others as far as I have gone myself!
